Quad Cities Community Foundation is seeking applications for the Teens for Tomorrow (T4T) Grant Program which is a youth philanthropy group made up of high school students from Rock Island County in Illinois and Scott County in Iowa.

Early Grant Information for NGOs

These young leaders become philanthropists by learning about community needs, developing a grant opportunity, evaluating applications, making site visits, and awarding grants.

Funding Information

Maximum awarded per application: no maximum; grants have typically ranged up to $2,500.
Each year, T4T awards a total of $10,000 to nonprofits meeting a variety of needs in the Quad City Area.

USD 1 MILLION Grants for Innovative Solutions to combat Water Scarcity

Climate Fund to alleviate energy poverty in Developing Countries

This Request for Applications is open to strengthening the Economic Development Efforts

Grants for African CSOs to implement activities in SGBV, SRHR, HP, and VAWG

Small Research Grants for the improvement of education

Grant Opportunity to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 and Future Pandemics

Teens for Tomorrow grants will support nonprofit organizations to carry out programs or projects that benefit Rock Island County, Illinois, and/or Scott County, Iowa. Eligible 501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations:

Are located in and serving residents of Rock Island County, Illinois and/or Scott County, Iowa.
Grant applications addresses one of the following issues in their community:
Education Equity: Nonprofits directly supporting students with resources to succeed in a well-rounded education. Programs with a focus on those who face inequalities due to financial or racial disparities will be given priority for funding.
Racial Injustice: Nonprofits providing awareness of racial injustice, and providing opportunities to Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color.
Social Inequities: Nonprofits promoting the well-being of individuals who face challenges related to poverty, hunger, health, and/or homelessness. Programs that understand how racial disparities intersect with these inequities are highly encouraged to apply.
Organizations must comply with their Diversity and Non-Discrimination Policy.
Funds can be used for any expenses of projects or programs that address the above issues, including but not limited to direct service, operations, or education/awareness.
Application Process

Applications are submitted via their online grant system.
T4T members will contact each applicant to schedule a site visit in late February or March. Site visits will consist of 3-5 Teens for Tomorrow members visiting the organization for no more than one hour. They know your time is valuable and they appreciate your staff or volunteers helping them to understand your application by providing a tour and answering the members’ questions about your program or project. Given ongoing public health measures due to the pandemic, it is expected that 2021 site visits will take place virtually.

Impact of T4T Grant: A T4T grant will make a difference to the success of the effort.
