The Northern Territory (NT) Government is seeking applications for its Office of Gender Equity and Diversity General Grants Program to provide funding for programs/projects/activities and initiatives that promotes gender equality in the Northern Territory.

Gender inequality affects the whole community, including women, men, and members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual (LGBTQI+) communities.

Funding Information

Grants of up to $5000 are available for eligible community groups, organisations and individuals.
Eligibility Criteria

Small Research Grants for the improvement of education

This grant-making trust inviting Charities to help Socially Disadvantaged Groups during COVID-19

Support available for NGOs working on social innovation, inclusiveness and sustainability

Advocacy grants to strengthen the voice of communities and grassroots activists

USD $250,000 to $2 million funding available for each selected partner to address Covid-19 impact in select countries

Funding is available to individuals and organisations.
To be eligible for funding an individual must:
have adequately demonstrated that the grant will not duplicate funding already provided under this or other Northern Territory Government funding sources
have met acquittal requirements for all previous funding (this grant) and complied with all other accountability requirements
have completed all required information in the application form and submitted required documentation in support of application
reside in the NT for the duration of funded activity
To be eligible for funding an organisation must:
be physically located and actively operating in the NT. If applicants’ organisation is physically located and actively operating outside of the NT they must partner with an NT organisation
have adequately demonstrated that the grant will not duplicate funding already provided under this or other Northern Territory Government funding sources
have met acquittal requirements for all previous funding (this grant) and complied with all other accountability requirements
have completed all required information in the application form and submitted required documentation in support of application
be registered for Goods and Services Tax if applicants organisation earns $75,000 or more per year
have public liability insurance of at least $10 million
have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or, if applicants do not have an ABN, have a completed Statement by a Supplier form (available from the Australia Taxation Office (ATO) website)
