Health Foundation of Greater Massillon is inviting applications for its Grants program to improve the health and wellness of individuals and families in our community.
Health Foundation of Greater Massillon (HFGM) has awarded more than $3 million in charitable grants to local organizations. HFGM incentivizes area youth to become involved in building a healthier community through its Community Giving High School Volunteer Program. Students from area high schools who participate in the annual program receive a grant from HFGM to develop and execute a community activism project that addresses a health-related issue in their community.
Eligibility Criteria
Fellows will receive Project and Connect Fund to address Water-related Issues

Grants are made to entities recognized as tax-exempt charities under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and governmental entities. HFGM does not normally approve grants to support the following:
Overhead and/or administrative costs not directly associated with the proposed project or program
Annual appeals or membership drives
Fundraising projects
Religious organizations for religious purposes
Travel for individuals or groups (if that is the primary focus)
Endowment funds
Individuals or groups
Lobbying activities

HFGM seeks to encourage ideas and proposals from the health and wellness sector. Proposals must demonstrate well-planned programs and activities that promote physical, emotional and mental health. Proposals must directly impact one or more of the following service areas:
