The Solano Community Foundation has announced 2021 COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant Program to support Nonprofit partners as “second responders” who provide essential health care services and protect at-risk populations during a crisis.

Early Grant Information for NGOs
Eligible organizations are those currently providing emergency support services (basic needs, e.g., food, rent and utilities payments, and direct financial support) to vulnerable and marginalized individuals and families impacted by COVID-19 in Solano County.
Focus Areas
There are two focus areas:
Direct Basic Needs Support. SCF’s first priority is to provide funding to help low-income children and families, adults, and older adults struggling to secure basicneeds (i.e., food, shelter, financial assistance, medicine) due to the hardship causedby COVID-19. Grantees will use these funds to support individuals and families ingreatest need.
Nonprofit Operating Support. SCF will also fund charitable organizations to helpthem continue operating and delivering services. Grantees will use these funds toaddress the hardships caused by COVID-19 (i.e., payroll, rent, I.T. support, implementing required social distancing measures).
Funding Information
COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant Application Form nonprofits may apply for funding up to $25,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Organizations must be qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits or faith-based organizations serving Solano County populations. Private, for-profit businesses are not eligible for funding.
Infrastructure supports the documentation of and accounting for utilization of funds.
Funding will pay for (or reimburse) ongoing COVID-19 response efforts and direct relief for people who live in Solano County.
Future preparedness or resiliency planning programs are not eligible for funding.
