The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is accepting applications on behalf of the Mary Gale Foundation (MGF), which has established a donor advised fund with the Foundation to support its grantmaking. This grantmaking program is open to nonprofit organizations.
The Mary Gale Foundation (MGF) is a private, grantmaking foundation that supports housing, health and other in-home services and programs for low-income women age 65 and older living in the Greater Manchester area.
Types of projects funded
Grants are generally targeted to programs, organizations and projects benefiting aged and needy women in Greater Manchester, with an emphasis on housing and in-home services, including transportation, deliveries, in-home nursing care, home visits, and other supports that help enable women 65 and older to remain in their own homes.

Geographic Focus
Funding is limited to organizations providing services in the greater Manchester area (Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, Litchfield, Candia and Auburn).
Eligibility Criteria
Must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or be a municipality or other subdivision of government.
Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.
