Maersk Angola is looking to hire a Country Sales Manager to join our team in Luanda. He/she will be responsible for the commercial/selling activities to the geographical area under supervision. Reporting to the Angola Managing Director, the Country Sales Manager needs to assure the accomplishment of the sales targets.

Key responsibilities
Delivery as per Area budget
– Lead and set direction for the sales team according to budget – both on delivering ocean volume and growing revenue and optimising profits
– Coach and drive sales team to sell and grow non-ocean activities including supply chain and local products
– Define and set targets for sales incentives together with Sales FBP
Customer satisfaction
– Actively monitor local NPS across segments and drive local improvement to improve customer satisfaction
Manage stakeholders across the area, region and global functions
– Lead transformation from the front according to overall company strategy
– Ensure best practice sharing across teams
– Manage cross-functional relationships and actively provide input to product teams on product value proposition (Provide business planning input to Area on behalf of country)
Build and develop a best in class sales team
– Ensure succession plans are in place for key roles including own role
– Coach direct reports for success and development
– Manage local engagement
We are looking for
– Bachelor Degree
– Fluent in Portuguese and English
– Strong Commercial (Logistic & Service) Experience
– Strong knowledge of Angola Market
– Leadership Management
– Strategic thinking
