FAO recruits 01 Radio Programming Associate



FAO’s implementing partners for various projects, to identify interviewees with appropriate expertise;
Prepare reports on programme activities;
Produce a feature stories about agriculture in South Sudan;
Investigate and scripting case study with the farmers;
Photograph programme activities in all locations and compiling photos;
Develop successful stories on different program activities from beneficiaries in various locations including both men and women;
Perform other related duties as required.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING
Minimum Requirements
 College Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations or other social sciences. A Bachelor degree will be an added advantage;
A minimum of four years of proven knowledge and experience in radio programming, particularly related to agriculture, fisheries, livestock and/or general food and nutrition security;
Experience in radio production, including programme planning, finding guests, booking interviews, and writing scripts;
Fluency in English.

Proven experience and ability to work with rural communities and community mobilization;
Proficiency in using audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition, DaletPlus, CoolEdit or Hindenburg;
Demonstrated leadership, managerial, supervisory coordination and interpersonal skills;
Experience in production in other mediums (television/video, photography) will be considered an asset;
