City of Seattle announces 2021-22 Youth Arts Grant Program
Deadline: 22-Mar-21
The City of Seattle has announced the 2021-22 Youth Arts Grant Program to support equitable access to arts and cultural learning opportunities for Seattle’s Middle and High School aged youth.
Programs occur outside of school hours and are led by experienced teaching artists working in communities to increase arts and cultural opportunities for young people from diverse racial and socio-economic backgrounds.
Data shows that the greatest disparities between young people who have access to arts education and those who don’t are based on race, socioeconomics, home language, and disabilities. As with all of the Office of Arts & Culture’s Creative Youth Programs, Youth Arts Grant prioritizes programs serving young people within these demographics.
