CCCF’s Grant Initiatives for Nonprofit Agencies (US)

CCCF’s Grant Initiatives for Nonprofit Agencies (US)

Deadline: 1-Oct-21

The Cape Coral Community Foundation (CCCF) is offering grants to support endowments for the organization throughout the country.

2021-2022 Grant Initiatives

Seniors Initiative

Initiatives that help people in the region age successfully and remain healthy, informed and engaged. To help drive creative new ways to keep seniors productive and connected to their communities, the Cape Coral Community Foundation supports programs designed to help seniors live independently as they age.
The medical, social, transportation, housing and service needs of Lee County’s older citizens are intensifying just as resources to support them are in decline. To begin to meet this challenge, over the past five years The Cape Foundation has placed a greater emphasis on organizations serving older adults.
The Senior Issues Initiative seeks to fund innovative organizations with impact-driven outcomes, ranging from employment and career retraining to fostering active and healthy lifestyles, behavioral health, affordable housing, promoting volunteerism and intergenerational social connection, and providing transportation options.
This grant initiative will award a total up to $20,000 for new or existing innovative proposals to address senior issues in Lee County.
COVID-19/Delta Variant Relief Grants

The Cape Foundation COVID-19 Relief grant program is a one-time opportunity to provide nonprofits that have been impacted by COVID-19/Delta Variant with unrestricted funding to achieve their missions. COVID-19/Delta Variant Relief grants are flexible and allow funds to support an organization’s ongoing administrative and infrastructure costs and to maintain existing, effective programs.
Characteristics of successful applications include: a clear vision of the organization’s role in making a difference in the community, a demonstration of effectiveness through investment of time and personnel in measuring and planning for success and a written strategic business plan that covers two or more years, includes goals and methods to measure effectiveness, and is used to form an annual work plan.
Organizations may request up to $25,000. Each grantee will be asked to identify annual goals and to report on progress and challenges for a 12-month period.
