Position holders work to achieve the organisation’s operational and financial goals. Positions in this family control, direct and participate in the activities of the organisation through a hierarchy of managers and supervisors. They may undertake strategic planning, budget determination and forecasting, policy determination, allocation of resources and make decisions to accomplish the organisation’s vision.
Head of a Job Family/corporate centre of excellence of the organisation for a country/region/division/global. Establishes and implements strategy for area of responsibility. Leads multiple teams of Senior Managers, and Managers. Develops short to mid-term (1-3 years) plans for optimising the organisation, Job Family Group, or Job Family and the talent required to execute strategies in job area.
Direct all aspects of the day-to-day operations of a country/region (Job size determined by a combination of revenue and business complexity) to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the corporate objectives, strategy and plans.
Oversee the opening or closing of facilities and the operational aspects of mergers and acquisitions so that these activities are completed on time and within budget and with minimal disruption to the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
